Battlestar Galactica: The Second Coming

“He was alive when last I saw him, though I’m sure he’s dead by now.”

“Come and get it you little tin heads!”

SYNOPSIS: It’s been twenty years since the Battlestar Galactica fled, leading a rag tag fleet of other survivors, from the robotic Clyons who had tried to destroy all humanity. The travelers have grown tired of running and want to forget the Clyons and settle down. Their original leader is dead and his son, Apollo, is now in charge and a new generation of survivors, born in space, are starting to doubt his leadership. A clue to finding his long lost friend, Starbuck, comes in the person of Baltar, a traitorous human who had sided with the Clyons but now claims to have fled a new breed of robots to help the humans. Apollo leads a landing party to find an abandoned base where they find Starbuck but are then set upon by the Cylons who have been lying in wait. The Battlestar and the fleet narrowly escape a full on attack, but this too seems to be exactly what the Clyons want. That’s just the beginning of a proposed new series of the original show.
