LIVE EVIL will premiere at the Valley Film Festival in LA on Thurs. Sept. 25 at 9:00 PM. Screenplay adapted and Directed by Jay Woelfel and produced by Mark Terry. Many great names in this vampire flick that has a 'spaghetti western' feel, including Tim Thomerson, Mark Hengst, Tiffany Shepis and Ken Foree.

The 8th Annual Valley Film Festival announces another thought provoking, entertaining lineup of cinema so independent it can only be found in L.A.'s San Fernando Valley. The premier showcase for the best new work by Valley residents, and American and international independent filmmakers, the 8th Annual Valley Film Festival provides audiences with the opportunity to discover today's most provocative films. In addition to the juried 10 Degrees Hotter Awards for narrative feature, documentary feature, and short film, the Festival presents a collection of short films in four Audience Award sections. The 2008 Valley Film Festival runs September 24-28, 2008, at the historical El Portal Theatre in the NoHo Arts District.

HORATIO'S HAMLET is one the selections for the ongoing KID'S FIRST film festival, a festival of quality entertainment and education films.

Ryan Buell is just an ordinary college kid. He attends classes at Penn State University, deals with schedules, school-work, parties, girls, etc. But he is also a member of one of the first university sanctioned paranormal research groups in the country, The Paranormal Research Society (PRS). Each week, outside parties ranging from The Catholic Church to ordinary families contact the PRS to request help in dealing with a terrifying real-life mystery often involving poltergeists, hauntings and the darkest areas of the unknown.

Horatio's Hamlet Screening Information:

April 25, 2007, Bowling Green State University, Bowen-Thompson Student Union, Bowling Green, OH 43403-0001, 419-372-2531. The film will show along with a ten minute making of documentary about the students involved in the production. Screening room opens at 7pm screening to begin at 7:30pm. A reception is immediately following the screening - reception room 318 Anderson Conference room (until 9:30pm)

April 26, 2007, Drexel Gateway Theatre, 1550 N. High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43201, 614-545-2255. Horato's Hamlet will be premiering at The Drexel Gateway Theatre on Thursday April 26th at 8pm and 9pm. There is no admission cost but the event is being done in conjunction with Actor's Summer Theatre and they will accept donations and introduce each screening. Actor/writer Nick Baldasare and filmmaker Jay Woelfel, and possibly other crew members, will do Q and A sessions after each showing. The film runs 28 minutes long and was shot in 35mm in conjunction with the Bowling Green State Universities' Telecommunications Department.

Andrew Migliore author of The Lurker in the Lobby: A Guide to the Cinema of H.P. Lovecraft has included a mention Beyond Dream's Door in the new edition of the book that is now available. He has also invited Jay Woelfel to present his film Beyond Dream's Door at this year's H.P. LOVECRAFT film festival. It is possible other cast and crew members may attend as well.

The festival runs from October 6-7-8, 2006 Hollywood Theatre Portland OR. This will be the first time the film has been seen in its original cut.
